John Diehl makes his final appearance as Larry Zito in season three of “Miami Vice.”

Diehl asked and NBC agreed to let him out of his contract by killing off the original character in the season’s 12th episode and 56th overall, first aired in prime time Friday, January 9, 1987.
Zito goes undercover as a boxing manager, and Crockett and Tubbs as promoters, as the vice squad tries to bust a crooked bookmaker. Zito infiltrates the criminal enterprise, and pays for it with his life.

Drake contemplates settling down in “Search & Rescue.”

The song became the Toronto-born entertainer’s first single of the year, upon its release April 7, 2023.
It marked his first non-album single since the release of his last two albums, “Certified Lover Boy” (2021) and “Honestly, Nevermind” (2022).
“Search & Rescue” became Drake’s latest meme-worthy song, notably in its use of a clip from an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” featuring Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.

Songwriting and production credit on the song with Drake includes rapper Lil Yachty, with whom Drake conducted his first extensive on-camera interview in three years in February 2023.

In his interview with Yachty, Drake said he is “introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit” from public life, more than a decade into his prolific run as hip-hop’s leading hitmaker.
Talk of slowing down is premature for him, though, as Drake embarks on his “It’s All a Blur” concert tour.
